Since Incorporation in 1933 Boston Line & Service Co. and its sister companies have been providing line handling, launch service, emergency spill response, security, and other maritime related services to the Port of Boston, Cape Cod Canal, Port of Providence, Port of New Haven and Bridgeport.

Our companies serve a diverse customer base, including shipping agents, marine terminals, dredge and construction companies and have the capability to adapt to provide any marine service you may have. We have highly trained and qualified personnel standing by 24 hours 7 days a week.

LINE HANDLING

Our highly experienced personnel have been assisting the mooring and unmooring of vessels at terminals since 1933. Terminal owners can be assured our line handlers are well trained and will consistently meet your needs and expectations.

BOOM RESPONSE

Our company has excelled in providing a fast and effective response for the unfortunate event of an accidental discharge of petroleum products. We have an ample stock of oil booms, absorbent booms, absorbent pads, skimmers, and temporary storage containers. Our staff has HAZWOPER certified training and regularly perform drills for oil terminals in our area. We are OSRO classified and keep our equipment listed with the USCG RRI system.

DREDGE SUPPORT

Our company has been providing crew and supply transportation for many of the major dredging companies on the east coast. Our versatile fleet can fit your dredge operations from shallow water to offshore projects.

Coast Line Security, LLC has been providing terminal security for many years. All personnel have TWIC’s and have been trained on MARSEC security. We can also provide security for construction sites, project sites, and other sensitive areas.

For over 75 years we have been transporting personnel and provisions to vessels at Anchor and moored in the Ports of Boston, Providence, New Haven, and Bridgeport. Our highly trained and knowledgeable Captains will quickly deliver your goods and services to you safely on one of our USCG Inspected Vessels.

Send your In-Bond spares to us. We regularly pick up and store spare part shipments at our Boston facility and deliver to vessels all over the Northeast. Have a Domestic shipment coming but don’t have the ships schedule? No problem we can store it and keep track of the ships schedule for you.
